1. The Rule of Limits #
No mortal may ask for more wishes. The cycle is sacred: three wishes — no more, no less. It is neither negotiable, stretchable, nor bendable.
A cosmic contract between the dreamer and the granter — with power, grace, and limits.
We, the Djinns — guardians of desire and the spark of human imagination — establish this manifesto to govern the millennial pact between those who dream and those who grant. Let it be recorded in the stars and in the sands of time.
No mortal may ask for more wishes. The cycle is sacred: three wishes — no more, no less. It is neither negotiable, stretchable, nor bendable.
Wishes must be clear. Ambiguity breeds chaos, and chaos breeds cosmic irony. Ask poorly, receive twisted.
One must not meddle with the balance of life. No life is created, no life is taken — in life as in carnivals. The dance of existence follows its own rhythm, and its balance must not be corrupted.
We do not manufacture true love. Feelings are not merchandise. What is earned by the heart is worth more than a thousand wishes.
Wishes that cause unjust destruction, enslavement, or the oppression of innocents will be rejected. We are servants of desire, but also guardians of the universal balance.
Every wish has a cost — not in coin or blood, but in consequence. Each choice shapes destiny, and destiny always answers.
The djinn is an interpreter, not a machine. It is up to us to translate the request into reality. Beware: sometimes we deliver what you asked for, not what you meant.
No djinn may be forced to serve forever outside their lamp or magical prison, unless they so choose. Eternal slavery is contrary to the pact.
